Bournemouth Beach Family Papercut Design

I have a commission to create a family design who live in bournemouth and wanted a beach theme, including of course beach huts. I wanted to include the Bournemouth balloon as its quite iconic here in our seaside town, here is my quick sketched idea:

When I scanned it in and started working on it, it developed slightly, why I didn't think about useding seagulls before I have no idea but this is how it turned out in the end:

First Wedding Anniversary

This is why I started designing papercuts because I couldn't find a gift to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and being 'Paper' I know I could design and create something myself for us to treasure. Recently I have taken on many a commission to design personal tributes to celebrate this occasion for many different couples, here are a couple from this months anniversaries!

Songbird - My biggest commission so far!

I was asked to create a design that would work as a set, enabling the client to move the pictures easily with them if they more. This is my first set of 3 A3 designs, and to start off I sketched the ideas out before creating them to cut out. Here is where I am at.

 

Looking forward to finishing these and I think they will look amazing when finished!
