British Garden Birds Papercut

This summer (while pregnant!) I spent a lot of time with my daughter in our garden exploring and studying the wildlife we could find, we had plenty of visitors including a hedgehog, a beautiful array of butterflies (five of which we had from caterpillars and watched hatch out of their chrysalis into beautiful painted lady butterflies) and a stunning collection of garden birds. This inspired me to create a large A3 paper cut to incorporate as many as I could. Here is the result:

A lovely parcel arrived today from Michael O'Mara books with Zeena Shah's beautiful new colouring book (available from June 9th) that I had the pleasure to help adapt the cover design into a papercut! Looking forward to a cup of Dorset tea and getting my Staedtler colouring pencils out!

She Began to Believe, Alice in Wonderland inspired papercutting template

Here is a new design I created a little while ago. I have now released it as a template (the first 10 are half price). A recent tea themed paper cut now available to buy as a made to order product, I loved how this design turned out and really enjoying my colouring pencil journey, next is to try some water colours but I may have to change my paper for that. Will keep you posted on my progress!
