Storm in a teacup Papercut

I can finally show this papercut to you all, it was based on the idea of a storm in a teacup. It is available as a template to cut your own in my Etsy shop as an instant download. Here are a few close up pictures:

When Only a Hot Brew Will Do

Yes another tea themed template coming soon! You could add a name on the tea bag label (like Mum or Dad) or your favourite brew (mines Dorset Tea!). As with all my tea designs I loved cutting this one out, and this one was quite easy compared to some I have done recently. The only tricky bit was the flowers on the cup. Available soon as a template to cut yourself and will fit an A4 frame.

Where there's Tea there's hope Papercut Template

Following on from my previous post, here is the second design of the week! Again available to purchase from my Etsy store, if you are interested in it as an .svg file then please do get in touch and I can add it to my shop. Please note all my designs are for personal use only and are not to be resold, altered or passed on without premission. You only need to drop me an email to samantha@sascreative.co.uk and I will endeavour to answer as soon as possible.

'A brew will see you through' Papercut Template

I have two new designs that have been added to my shop. The first is a personal favourite of mine incorporating the wording 'A brew will see you through' and is fairly easy to cut by hand but the swirly writing is a bit of a challenge! Here are some photos and a link to my item on Etsy.

New Papercut Designs for 2014

Following from my previous post and the Time for Tea papercut design, I recently created a new design that will be available to purchase soon (if not tonight if I get round to it!) with the quote 'Create what sets your heart on fire, and it will illuminate the path ahead'. Here are some pictures:

There's always time for tea!

Finally managed to get round to designing a new tea themed papercut. 'There's always time for tea' papercut incorporated a new typeface called Breath Pro which I haven't used before and I just love it. t
This is my first attempt so with a few alterations it will be available to purchase soon, and yes it will be available as a template too. I have plenty other designs up my sleeve and will release a free one soon!

I've also been asked a few times to blog about cutting techniques so I will take some photos and create a blog post about my methods soon. I have two ways I cut my paper, one obviously by hand with a Swan Morton scalpel, (10a and 11 blades!), but mainly by machine. I have the Cameo Silhouette and use .svg files created from Adobe illustrator, so if people are interested in downloading these files too instead of a pdf to cut by hand then drop me an email (samantha@sascreative.co.uk) and I might think about adding them to my shop!

So here are them pictures of my latest creation!

You know I love tea right... well heres my next design. I've started a collection up of these designs now and hope one day I can get them screen printed on tea towels... watch this space!

New Papercut Designs

Here are some other designs I have been working on recently, easier just to list in one post (well for me anyway!)

That solved it...

I told you there will be many tea papercuts! I'm putting together a collection of taste tingling, cup clinking, delightfully scrummy designs around mine and my husbands love for tea! Like a song writer I guess this is a way of expressing myself, my thoughts and feelings... this next papercut was drawn on a post-it note whilst walking past a cafe in Boscombe high street on my way back from lunch, you should see the sketch its quite funny! I have another two sketched out too... so watch this space!
