Hobbycraft Instagram Takeover

I was lucky enough to be asked if I wasn't to participate in a Hobbycraft Instagram takeover this month and of course I jumped at the chance! I was able to create a template, cut and paint it and frame all using products given to me by Hobbycraft. It was a fantastic opportunity to use new materials as well as hopefully inspire others to give it a go.

Christmas baubles

Hi everyone, its been a busy few months with getting ready for the Etsy Made Local craft fair, all your orders and trying to get as many Christmas designs created for the Silhouette store. Below are a selection of 3D baubles available for instant download so you can create them yourself.

Spring Love

British Garden Birds Papercut

This summer (while pregnant!) I spent a lot of time with my daughter in our garden exploring and studying the wildlife we could find, we had plenty of visitors including a hedgehog, a beautiful array of butterflies (five of which we had from caterpillars and watched hatch out of their chrysalis into beautiful painted lady butterflies) and a stunning collection of garden birds. This inspired me to create a large A3 paper cut to incorporate as many as I could. Here is the result:

Lymington & New Forest Arts Festival 2016

I will be exhibiting in the Lymington & New Forest Arts Festival that takes place this June in Lymington Library where I will have some new larger paper cuts hanging and smaller designs in their glass cabinet. You can see my work from 1st June - 31st July 2016. I will be showcasing these new designs soon on my blog and some will be available as templates to try out yourself.
